Tesla rolling out Holiday 2023 update with new features and improvements

It’s the holiday season and Tesla is realising the holiday update for the Tesla owners with 2023.44.25. For now, the software is rolling out for some of the users and it could expand further in batches.

Tesla is sending this update with a host of new additions, features, and system improvements. Below you can check the current revelation of the Tesla 2023.44.25 update and what it brings for the users.

Apple Podcasts:

Tesla users can now sync Apple Podcasts from their Apple devices to follow shows, save episodes, and resume a podcast from the last listening time. Users can browse new and popular podcasts from the trending section on Top Charts.

Users can open the Apple Podcasts app from the app launch, scan the QR code, and log in with their Apple ID to access the content.

This section updates for three inbuilt games and controller adaptions.

Beach Buggy Racing game now brings new vehicles and tracks. The Polytopia Diplomacy Update installs new options for peaceful and hostile interactions from peace treaties and embassies to stealth infiltration and guerrilla warfare.

With an update, Vampire Survivors Chilling players can melt hordes of snowmen and defend against ice monsters in the new wintry without a map. There’s also a new character, achievements, and collectible items.

PS4, PS5, and Xbox game controllers can experience a rumble effect for selected games. These controllers could be paired in the Bluetooth panel, followed by the on-screen instructions.

Automatic 911 Class:

This could be a big feature for the users, post upgrade, the Tesla vehicle will call 911 if it detects airbag deployment following an accident.

However, a countdown timer will allow the user to cancel the call before it connects. If the user doesn’t need 911. But the feature required the smartphone to remain connected to the Tesla via Bluetooth.

Speed Cameras:

The navigation system now shows symbols on your route along with stop signs and traffic lights. This feature is available with premium connectivity.

Trip Planner:

The trip planner is now available on the Mobile app. To use this capability, go to “Location”, from here “Navigate” and enter a destination.

To add multiple stops or make changes, tap on Edit Trip > Add Stop. The trip planner also includes charging stops and sharing the planned trip to your car with the “Send to Car” feature. The latest feature requires Tesla app version 4.27.5+.

More Cameras in Live Camera View:

The Tesla app now provides access to left and right pillar cameras. From your vehicle touchscreen, open Controls > Safety > View Live Camera via Mobile App. This feature requires Tesla app version 4.27.5+ and premium connectivity.

Automatic Blind Spot:

The blind spot camera view now alerts you with red shading along the edge when your turn signal is on and your vehicle detects an object or another vehicle in your blind spot.

Light Show:

The update adds “The Arrival” by Irving Victoria as a light show tune. You can play it right away after the installation schedule the show up to 10 minutes before with one vehicle or synchronize it with friends.

Interstingly, Tesla owners can now play multiple custom light shows from the same USB flash drive. To do so, the user needs to save the show files to a directory named “LightShow” inside the flash drive. Then, plug and play the light show.

Aside from these new additions and features, there are some minor changes and improvements that you should also know.

You can shuffle your TIDAL playlists and albums. Apple Music and Spotify accounts now support showing profile images.

The universal search feature now shows results including references and links to the Owner’s Manual. This new change is also reflected in the system settings.

While searching for a charging station location, you can now filter between two charging speeds. Three lighting bolts show over 70 kW chargers and one lighting bold shows 70 kW or less.

Rollout and Expansion:

This feature package certainly appears like a Holiday 2023 update for a top-of-the-line Tesla user experience. Soon it will be available for all of the Tesla. So you can jump on the Tesla seat if you see version 2023.44.25.
