SpaceX Falcon Heavy Booster landing

Space industry giant SpaceX today released the newest ride of its powerful Falcon Heavy space rocket carrying the USSF-52 mission to orbit.

The launch took place from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The two boosters on the side were previously used for USSF-44, USSF-67, Hughes JUPTER 3, and NASA’s Psyche missions.

Both of the boosters land back on SpaceX’s landing zones 1 and 2 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida after 8:20 minutes of the liftoff.

Falcon Heavy consists of three reusable Falcon 9 rockets, each of which has nine-engine cores. It combines a total of 27 Merlin engines to produce over 5 million pounds of thrust to send this vehicle into the air.

The first stage contains liquid oxygen and rocket-grade kerosene (RP-1) propellant. These rockets have 4 rocket legs on each booster made with aluminum honeycomb. Also, the grid fins help to navigate the booster back to its position at the landing site.
