Tesla brings free first Supercharging session for non-Tesla EVs through the first week of 2024

Tesla is making this new year special for non-Tesla vehicles who are willing to charge for the first time via a Tesla supercharging station and it will be free of cost for the first week of 2024.

Released in November 2021, non-Tesla Supercharging enables EV owners from other automakers to recharge their EVs using a Tesla charger. Meanwhile, These chargers remain accessible to Tesla vehicles as usual.

Tesla has made this announcement on its X (formerly Twitter) account for Europe and the Middle East region. The EV maker wrote that it is opening the charging network for all non-Tesla EVs to get their first Supercharging session for free until January 6, 2024.

Yet, EV owners must use a credit card on the Tesla app even though the company may not charge for the charging session.

This new offer is available in 18 countries but the specifics are not mentioned. According to Tesla’s official website, non-Tesla Supercharging is currently available in the following countries and regions.

Note – Non-Tesla Supercharging is only accessible for CCS-enabled vehicles.
