FSD Beta v12.1.2

Tesla is rolling out full self-driving (FSD) Beta v12.1.2 software update for the beta testers. This is a new addition to the past two FSD Beta builds released through the past two months.

This new over-the-air (OTA) update comes under software update 2023.44.30.12 for vehicles and the release notes mention FSD Beta v12.1.2.

FSD Beta is Tesla’s autonomous driving attempt to drive your car to its destination by following curves in the road, stopping at and negotiating intersections and turns, navigation, and highway travel.

Following some recent recalls of Tesla vehicles regarding “full self-driving” the company is now referring to the feature as “Autosteer”.

The update still shows identical changes as the past two FSD V12 versions. Adding to this, a Tesla owner with this software has shared some experience saying that the new build feels more “natural and less robotic”. Furthermore, the stopping is now better and there are some bugs in the operations, added the testers.

Last month, Tesla launched the 2023.44.30.10 software with FSD Beta v12.1 and it was the first release that we’ve been waiting to come as a stable update, followed by FSD Beta v12.1.1.

Meanwhile, most of the enthusiasts are engaged in a conversation regarding the stable FSD rollout. To conclude, the FSD V12.1.2 is limited to some testers and Tesla owners while a wide release might take some time.
