Tesla Model Y is now selling at the lowest in the U.S. after $1000 price cut

Tesla today announced a new $1000 price cut for its Model Y electric vehicle (EV) in the U.S. However, the new offer is valid through this month only.

The new price reduction has been made to rear-wheel drive (RWD) and Long Range Model Y. These two now start at $42,990 and $47,990 purchase price respectively. While the Model Y Performance version remained unchanged.

This date-bound offer is available only through February 29 and the price increase will increase by $1000 or more by March 1st.

Tesla Model Y RWD offers 260 miles of EPA Range, 135 mph top speed, and 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 6.6 seconds. The Long Range version on the other hand ramps up EPA range to 310 miles, 135 mph top speed, and 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.

Subsidies:

All three models of the Model Y are eligible for a full $7,500 Federal tax credit, allowing customers to further cut the price tags. After federal incentives, the Model Y RWD goes to $35,490, the Model Y Long Range goes to $40,490, and the Model Y Performance at $44,990.

The new instant incentives make the rebate even better compared to last year. Eligible buyers can now receive $7,500 off the purchase price at the time of the delivery.

That’s not it, some states such as Minnesota are offering additional subsidies besides the federal tax credit. So, the new price cut is an amazing time and value for the customers to grab.
