Tesla will increase $1,000 price on all Model Y starting April

Tesla today announced a $1,000 price increase for all Model Y trims starting April 1, 2024, across the U.S. This new price adjustment follows last month’s $1,000 limited-time discount on RWD and Long Range versions.

The current prices of the trim and the change are the following:

RWD model is priced at $43,990 with 260 miles of EPA range, 135 mph top speed, and 0-60 mph acceleration in 6.6 seconds. After the federal tax credit, this price goes down to $36,490.

Long range is priced at $48,990 and it comes with 310 miles of EPA range, 135 mph top speed, and 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.8 seconds. With Federal subsidies, the car’s price can be reduced to $41,490.

The performance variant is priced at $52,990 and it brings 260 miles of EPA range, 135 mph top speed, and 0-60 mph acceleration in 6.6 seconds. The performance variant is also eligible for federal tax credit and it goes down to $44,990.

Post Price Increase:

Eligible customers will get $7,500 off the purchase price at the time of the delivery.

Free Supercharging

Moreover, Tesla brought 10,000 miles of free Supercharging for Model Y buyers. Buyers who take the car’s delivery by March 31 will receive 5,000 free Supercharging miles for cash or finance purchases. Customers who choose to trade in will get 5,000 miles of Supercharging when the order is placed by March 19 and delivery is initiated by March 31.

The carmaker announced that the Tesla Model Y is available for immediate delivery.
