Tesla has introduced the new Model Y Long Range Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) version which comes with the maximum efficient driving range among top electric vehicle (EV).
“Maximum range that allows you to commute all week without charging at an even more accessible price,” wrote the company.
The new Model Y Long Range RWD is priced at 48,990 Euros, only 4,000 euros more than the base RWD model but 6,000 euros less than the Long Range Model Y with All Wheel Drive (AWD).
The new changes include a 600-kilometer (372 miles) WLTP range with 19-inch Gemini wheels. It has 217 kilometers per hour top speed and the lowest cost per kilometer in the electric SUV market, specifically 14.9 kWh/100 kilometers.

Aside from these new additions, the car remains the same as the existing RWD, AWD LR, and AWD Performance variants. The company has listed this model in European markets and it might eventually make its way to the U.S.
