Rivian announces R2 EV tour 2024-25 across US and Canada

Rivian has planned a big tour for its upcoming R2 midsize electric SUV that will expand through 2025. This is an anticipated EV that will come at a mid-range price and be available after two years.

Rivin will organize these events in different states across the US and Canada and let you explore the car up close. Normal Illionoise-based EV company showcasing R2 and R3 vehicles since its first unveiling in March.

R2 is built on a new midsize platform and carries elements from R1T and R1S vehicles. Unlike these flagship models, the company will start at around $45,000 and may also be eligible for a Federal tax credit.

With that being said, it could price below $40,000 with a $7,500 rebate. However, the company is currently reserving this car for customers and will begin deliveries in early 2026.

That’s a long time to wait for customers and these events will enable people with reservations and new customers to know more about the R2.

• Austin, Texas – November 7-11
• Laguna, California – November 13-17
• Los Angeles, California – November 21-December 1, 2024
• Detroit Michigan – January 10 – 12, 2025
• Chicago, Illinois – February 8-12, 2025
• Toronto, Ontario – February 14-23, 2025
