Tesla FSD, Supercharging and Premium Connectivity Bundle Launched
Tesla has launched a service bundle for customers including FSD (Supervised), Free Supercharging, and Premium Connectivity in one purchase of $5,000.
This is the first time the company has bundled its services all together on a new purchase. The price customers are paying will be valid for 3 years for supercharging, FSD, and premium connectivity. Also, FSD will not be retained alongside the vehicle after the bundle expires.
Unfortunately, this bundle is only available for Model S and X in the US. Therefore, you cannot opt for the offer on Model 3 or Y for the time being.
Full Self-Driving
FSD is a self-driving technology, that enables the car to drive through the traffic and detect on-road objects to react in real time. The car requires to be supervised by a human driver and ready to take the wheel when needed.
This year, the EV maker is making advancements in self-driving technology with FSD version 12. With new neural networks, the driving experience is improved with intelligence.
The company also reduced the price of FSD from $12,000 to $8,000 for new customers on all of its vehicles. And its monthly subscription costs $99.
Premium connectivity
This service enables customers to access all connectivity features over cellular alongside Wi-Fi for a better ownership experience. Premium Connectivity is currently available at $9.99 for a monthly subscription and $99 for an annual.
Free Supercharging
A month ago, Tesla announced 3 months of free supercharging for Model 3, Y, S, and X. This offer will be valid through August 15, 2024.
Talking about the value of this bundle, Model S and X customers can gain more cost efficiency than going their separate ways. 3 years of FSD and Premium Connectivity might make some sense to this bundle but free supercharging for this period makes it considerable.
For now, Tesla has not introduced this bundle as a temporary offer, which means it could stay there for you to select.
