SpaceX Falcon 9 Liftoff with Astranis mission

SpaceX launched a new Falcon 9 mission to orbit carrying Astranis: From One to Many payload. This mission had already missed two launch opportunities and claimed the new one. The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The mission team capitalized on this launch window with favorable weather. The payload includes 4 Astranis MicroGEO satellites that will improve satellite communication for the operator in high Earth orbit.

Astranis mission was the 17th flight for the SpaceX Falcon 9 booster, which previously supported Crew-5, GPS III Space Vehicle 06, Inmarsat I6-F2, CRS-28, NG-20, TD-7, and 9 Starlink missions. After the first stage separation, the booster landed on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
