xAI Grok bringing Google Calendar and Slack to connected apps

xAI Grok will get an expansion for the Connected Apps, bringing Google Calendar and Slack to the platform alongside Google Drive and Microsoft’s OneDrive. Tipster @nima_owji has shared this upcoming integration on X, revealing the two new additions alongside the other two pre-existing apps.
For now, the details of these two connected apps are unknown, but it’s expected that the Calendar integration will let you create, find, and edit your events via Grok. To connect Google Calendar, you need to sign in to your Gmail account.
On the other hand, Slack has already infused AI for individuals to connect and collaborate with features such as channels, voice and video calls, and file sharing. However, the connected app features for Slack are unknown in Grok’s context.

A few months ago, Grok rolled out Google Drive support for users, which allows users to fetch documents, spreadsheets, and slides into their conversation directly from the connected service. Similarly, xAI has also added Microsoft OneDrive into the connected apps segment to make things easier when it comes to file attachment for large data access and collaborative conversations.
To add a file from Google Drive or OneDrive, go to Grok.com, click on the Attach file icon, and select the preferred storage type.
