Oracle and xAI have announced that Grok large language model (LLM), is now available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI service. Oracle customers can use Grok for content creation, research, process automation, and other AI capabilities.
On the other hand, xAI will use OCI’s scalability, performance, and cost-efficient AI infrastructure to train and run the next-generation Grok model, which could be Grok 3.5 as well as future models.
“Grok 3 represents a leap forward in AI capabilities, and Oracle’s advanced data platform will accelerate its impact on enterprises,” said Jimmy Ba, co-founder, xAI. “This collaboration between xAI and Oracle is set to redefine enterprise-grade AI.”

Since its launch in December 2023, Grok has rapidly improved with new features and strong reasoning. This AI can now help users create realistic images in different styles. It can analyze files, conduct voice conversations, and provide in-depth answers with Deeper and DeepSearch features.
It can search the internet, support custom instructions, and complete automated tasks for users. Oracle revealed that xAI models are augmented with OCI’s enterprise-level capabilities with high-end data security.
The cloud service provider also shared details that Windstream, a telecom service provider, is exploring the xAI models via OCI to create a workflow and provide new solutions to facilitate employees.
