Elon Musk says new Grok features coming this week

Elon Musk, xAI’s founder and CEO, said some new features are coming to the Grok by this week. His announcement comes a day after releasing the Grok 4 model, the most advanced AI model. For now, Musk hasn’t shared information about these new features, but we will see a full revelation within a few days.
Grok 4 has greatly improved on the reasoning part; the model generates detailed answers and aims for increased accuracy than Grok 3. This has happened through the training from the first principle, which enhances the source gathering mechanism, which is heavily lacking in current generation models.
Besides focusing on the text segment, Grok 4 lineup will soon add a specialized coding model, and by the end of the year, it will bring a video generation model to users. The new model improves features, including DeepSearch, DeeperSearch, and Think, for users who like deeply analyzed data.
Since its initial launch, the xAI team has added a bunch of new features to the Grok. That includes the Aurora model, allowing users to generate realistic images on the go. Not only image generation, but users can also edit them with effects and suggestions with a dedicated editor.
Users can search through the internet and get results with source citation. Moreover, the mobile app provides you with verbal conversation in different voice tones. One of the recent addition is Eve, a female voice with British accent.
Grok 4 is currently available for SuperGrok, SuperGrok Heavy, and X Premium+ subscribers. The company is planning to expand its user scope beyond high priced paid subscription.
