Grok AI has a new companion, Valentine, coming very soon, and xAI has shared the first look at this AI avatar as it prepares for a final release.

Elon Musk, xAI chief, shared two visuals on the social media site X, revealing how the character will portray himself as a 3D avatar. Starting with the image, the character’s face has a sharp jaw line, blue eyes, sunglasses, and long hair.

A short clip of the t pose shows how the character is wearing a black suit with a high-collared shirt underneath. You can see a chain accessory hanging from the belt, which shows the elegance and style combined. Valentine has been shown with and without glasses in the demo and it suggests that the character can also change its persona in real-time conversation.

Valentine AI Grok Companion first look

This upcoming companion is inspired by the protagonist of the 1961’s Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein. In the story, Valentine is a human who was born and raised on Mars and later visited Earth while being completely unaware of the Earth’s social norms.

For now, Valentine is in the construction stage and will soon join Ani and Rudi. Earlier this week, xAI launched these two for the Grok app, allowing you to conduct voice conversations with visually appealing AI-driven animated characters.

Specially, Ani, a female anime-style avatar has gained mass popularity on the internet for her talks and movement on the mobile app screen. On the other hand, Rudi has good and bad modes, the second is designed for explicit language.
