OpenAI is ready to unveil its GPT-5 models to the world, but the company has already leaked their identities a day before the official unveiling.
From the leaked information from the service API backend, referenced GPT-5, GPT-5 Mini, and GPT-5 Nano along with their icons. These models will target different user bases and developers, allowing them to use a model that suits their computing specs and certainly pricing.

The latest leak follows the official launch announcement of GPT-5, through posts on X and other social media platforms. Though the company didn’t specifically mention GPT-5, the text itself has hints that make it clear that it’s a frontier model.
This launch is coming two and a half years after the GPT-4. Following this, OpenAI focused on multimodal and higher reasoning capabilities. The company has also brought new coding-specific and problem-solving models that are efficient than GPT-4 in different ways.
This huge time in between allowed OpenAI to train the upcoming models, and we could expect it to top all benchmarks.
On the other hand, OpenAI partners are also prepared to launch this model on their platform. Over the past few weeks, Microsoft Copilot has shown signs of a smart mode that will feature GPT-5 for a combined model response based on the new intelligence.
That said, we’ll see the GPT-5 rolling out to OpenAI’s partner platforms right after the release. Meanwhile, the API pricing has not been confirmed, but it’s likely to remain relative to the most recent models.
