Tesla adds new discount for Model S and X referral

Tesla has added a new reward for Model S and Model X, enabling a new credit after making an FSD-only referral. According to the information, Tesla is offering new referral program changes to Model S and X buyers, allowing them to claim a $250 discount on purchase.

In August last year, Tesla reintroduced its referral program after discontinuing it for a major change, including a referral quota. Initially, it started offering $1000 off for new buyers who use the referral link and $500 reward for referrers.

Credits earned with the reward program could be spent toward Supercharging, software upgrades, merchandise, service payments, or buying a new Tesla vehicle.

Since then, the company has made numerous changes to the credit amount for the buyer and the referrer. The most recent change is removing any credits for either party and adding 3 months of FSD (Supervised). Other than Model S and X, the Model 3, Y, and Cybertruck are still capped for 3 months of FSD Supervised.
