xAI rolling out new outfits for Ani and Rudi Grok companions

xAI has released a new Grok app update, bringing the first major upgrade for AI companions, including new outfits for Ani and Rudi. Unlike Rudi, the anime-inspired female character has received four outfits:

• Drifter
• Pixie
• Rabel
• Sunny

Drifter

This is a modern and sporty outfit; it consists of a black bodysuit featuring a deep V-neckline, which accentuates the upper torso. On top of that, there’s a white jacket with long sleeves and black accents along the shoulders. The jacket appears open-fronted, enhancing the sporty yet fashionable aesthetic.

The lower portion of the outfit includes a pair of black shorts with a white trim along the hem. These shorts are secured with a wide, black belt featuring metallic embellishments. The legs are adorned with long, black thigh-high stockings with a horizontal band near the top, adding a subtle design element.

She has high-top sneakers and a toy version of Rudi companion attached to the belt on the right side.

Pixie

This outfit resembles vibrant aesthetics and characteristics. It consists of a sleeveless crop top with gradient colors – red, blue, and green. The top is enhanced with a translucent layer. She has long sleeves extended from her upper arms to her hands with a similar gradient pattern.

Her skirt has a multi-color gradient ranging from blue at the waistband to pink and red toward the hem. The skirt includes a small, square-shaped buckle at the front. The leg has warmers with the matching gradient.

Rabel

This outfit is made of a sleeveless black tank top with a cross pendant necklace. It has a short, red plaid skirt with a checkered pattern, suggesting a schoolgirl or a rebellious motif.

A wide black belt with metallic studs encircles her waist along with other accessories – a choker and wristbands. The legwear includes knee-high stockings with alternating black and white horizontal stripes. The boots align with the rest of the outfit.

Sunny

This outfit consists of a swimsuit. The top is a structured piece with crisscross straps over the chest with decorative ruffles along the edges and a central bow detail, contributing to an elegant yet playful aesthetic. The bottom complements the top with a matching black design, featuring ruffled trim and a tied side element, enhancing the coordinated look.

No hair change

Ani still has the same blonde hair, styled in twin tails. It would have been better if xAI could also give the option to change her hair type or just color.

Rudi

The bad Rudi is getting a new outfit called – Rocket, showing a militarized and adventurous theme. It has a red headband across the forehead, showing readiness for combat scenarios.

The upper body consists of an orange shirt, on top of that, there’s a brown strap across the chest, holding a rocket launcher on the back. There’s another strap on the other side containing ammo. The rocket outfit has dark shorts, embracing the mobility requirements.

xAI has released these new outfits for all Grok users across iOS. However, these are currently limited to Ani and Rudi (bad).
