xAI releases read-aloud feature for Grok web

xAI is rolling out a read-aloud feature for Grok web users, allowing you to listen to each response to get a better understanding of the entire conversation.

To use this feature, open grok.com and start a conversation by asking a query. Check the speaker icon in the bottom option tray, and click on it. Grok may take a few seconds to start reading the output. You can tap again on the speaker button to stop the read-aloud session.

You will also notice that the read-aloud feature has a default female voice. We can expect xAI to add additional Grok settings, such as playback control and time-skip, in a future version, which can be found in the iOS version of the app.
