Starship Flight 11 launch preparations are underway, and the latest information shows that SpaceX could attempt to launch this rocket in mid-October.

An updated U.S. Coast Guard hazard notice shows that a rocket is launching from Starbase Boca Chica, Texas, on October 13 with a launch window of 6:15 PM onwards. It has a backup launch opportunity from October 14 to October 19, 2025.

The initial version of this notice shows that the October 6th launch window has now been delayed for a week. However, SpaceX has not confirmed a specific launch date for Starship Flight 11 at the moment.

In the meantime, SpaceX is testing the first and second stages for this mega flight test. The Super Heavy booster performed a full engine burn earlier this month, and the ship also followed this pre-flight practice this week with its six-Raptor engine.

The engineers on the site are clearing the launch pad to prepare for the full-stack process. They need some extra hardware to stack the upper stage, which was used to be tested at Massey’s site at Starbase, which was destroyed during the Starship Flight 10’s second stage testing.

The Starship Flight 11 will aim to go two steps further than the previous attempt and catch all of the milestones while preserving most of the tiles from the ship during the ship’s splashdown.
