SpaceX has completed its 135th mission of 2025 with the launch of a new Falcon 9 rocket from SLC-4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This is another demonstration of SpaceX’s rapid reusable rocket technologies that continue to improve over time. Adding to this, the company has recently achieved a record-breaking 31 launches and landings from a single Falcon 9 booster.

The liftoff was nominal with the first stage booster performing a stage separation and returning for a landing on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean. With this new liftoff, SpaceX has completed 96 Starlink missions this year alone, deploying 2,441 Starlink satellites, surpassing 2024’s entire satellite count.

Starlink provides ubiquitous, high-speed internet in remote places with 7,000+ satellites in orbit. It is serving more than 3 million users around the globe, where connectivity is hard to imagine.
