The main change in the series of models is that the original 15.4-inch 1080P resolution panel for the front center console screen has been replaced with a 16-inch 2K resolution panel, with no other adjustments made.
You should know that the 16-inch front screen is only available with the Performance variant, and sharing it with other models is also a good decision to improve the customer experience.
The 2026 Model Y has a modern design that takes inspiration from Cybercab and other Tesla vehicles, resulting in a more rugged and streamlined overall shape. The new car features a completely redesigned front fascia, headlights, rear diffuser, wheels, and side mirrors, with the rear equipped with the world’s first diffused taillights. The vehicle has improved comfort with new materials.
For now, the new Tesla Model Y 2026 upgrade remains limited to China, but it may expand to the U.S. and other markets in the near future.
