Tesla has announced winners for the 2025 Charging Passport contest, an inaugural edition of the initiative for dedicated Supercharger users.

Launched in December 2025, the feature in the Tesla app provided owners with a personalized yearly summary of their charging activity, including total sessions, miles of range added, unique Supercharger locations visited, top charging days, longest trips, and special achievement badges for milestones and iconic destinations.

To celebrate user engagement and exploration of the expanding Supercharger network, Tesla Charging announced in early December that free unlimited Supercharging would be awarded in January 2026.

The rewards will be distributed among the top three performers in three categories: most energy charged, most unique Supercharger sites visited, and longest distance between Superchargers. A total of nine winners received the prize.

The “most energy charged” category produced standout results, with all three winners adding well over 100,000 emission-free miles through Supercharging alone in 2025. Top honors went to Amy Steenson, who completed 1,427 charging sessions and added 160,808 miles of range, a major feat equivalent to crossing the United States coast-to-coast more than 50 times.

Second and third places also demonstrated remarkable dedication, logging 1,947 sessions (103,358 miles added) and 847 sessions (107,535 miles added), respectively, with heavy focus on regional networks in the Southeast U.S. and Florida.

Participants maintained consistent streaks, earned elite badges (including top 1% recognitions), and explored both everyday and remote locations. The community response was overwhelmingly positive, with dozens of congratulatory messages celebrating the winners and the program’s success in increasing EV enthusiasm.

As Tesla continues expanding its network, including new high-capacity sites like the off-grid Oasis Supercharger, the Charging Passport could become a fun, motivating way for owners to track progress and explore their electric travel.
