Origence, a credit union lending technology company and electric vehicle maker Tesla has announced today a partnership to offer credit union financing to EV buyers via the official Tesla website in the US.

The partnership aims to bring affordable monthly payments and more financing options for Tesla buyers.

The addition of Origence will also enable better rates and extended financing terms for customers to lower monthly payments.

The Orgience will cover reservations and purchases of Model Y, Model 3, Model X, Model S, and the latest Cybertruck vehicle through its website.

Origence will use its new licensed subsidiary, Fi Connect, to purchase and place retail contracts with partner credit unions nationwide for Tesla buyers.

Whenever a consumer finances their vehicle through Fi Connect via the Tesla website, the contract will be purchased and serviced by a credit union.
