General Motors (GM) is preparing new models with right-hand drive (RHD) configuration but the company may keep the recent Chevy Blazer EV left-hand drive exclusive.

GM Authority reported that the Chevy Blazer EV will be available only in left-hand drive.

Other than that, GM is preparing other models on the same BEV3 platform to run with RHD setup in markets including Australia and New Zealand.

“The introduction of a right-hand-drive Lyriq will enable new opportunities in important markets where EV adaptation is strong,” said Vice President, of Global Cadillac, John Roth.

The RHD version of Lyriq is also scheduled to be sold in Japan by 2025. Furthermore, it could expand to markets including the UK and Ireland.
