Tesla releases a new 3D Map Navigation and it’s quite better
Tesla is rolling out a new update for vehicle users in China and it comes with a 3D view of the navigation on the map, which looks better than the previous visuals.
This new change has been found in Tesla software update 2023.44.32 in China, which was first launched in December. With the expansion, users are sharing this new visual capability.
The new 3D map has a bird-eye view of real-time navigation including the surroundings, 3D architecture, lanes, trees, and other visual changes compared to a plane map. The new additions make it quite similar to the full self-driving (FSD) navigation system.
Unlike Tesla FSD with real-time visualization of the surroundings, the 3D map has static objects.
After being shared on X (formerly Twitter), the new change has collected quite a pop from Tesla owners. They also want to get this new map on their vehicles. There are no details available about a release for Tesla users outside of China.
