These Stellantis vans are using zero-emission BEV technologies that provide short refueling time and high payload capacity. Other than the platform, it also offers electrified propulsion, safety, ADAS, and long-range connectivity.

The mid-size vans equip the second generation of the fuel cell system with a range of 400 kilometers and a refueling time of below 4 minutes. The large vans can deliver up to 500 kilometers of range and less than five minutes of refueling time.

Stellantis first launched hydrogen fuel cell technology in 2021 and acquired a major share in Symbio’s hydrogen technology company in 2023.

“The action to bring hydrogen fuel cell mid-size vans and add fuel cell large vans to our production lines is a proof point of our commitment to maintain the lead in cutting-edge hydrogen technology and make it available to our most demanding customers,” said Jean-Michel Billig, Stellantis Chief Technology Officer, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Development.
