iPhone 16 series could offer more power backup as Apple could increase capacities for new iPhone models rumored by a tipster known as Majin Bu.

The tipster suggests that iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max will bring larger batteries than their iPhone 15 series counterparts. The company will no longer support L-shaped battery packs due to a redesign.

Based on the revelation, the iPhone 16 standard model packs 3,561 mAh compared to the 3,349 mAh battery in the iPhone 15. The iPhone 16 Plus packs a 4,006 mAh capacity reduced from the 4,383 mAh battery in the iPhone 15 Plus. iPhone 16 Pro could feature 4,676 mAh upgrading from 4,422 mAh.

The tipster has not shared any details on the iPhone 16 Pro’s battery capacity. However, these are just rumored specifications that are added to a host of information that appeared in the past.

The iPhone 16 will bring another physical button on the right side of the frame to work as a capture key for the camera app. A report indicates that the button could be pressure sensitive to provide multi-function.

iPhone 16 Pro lineup may also adjust display sizes and feed a periscope camera on the Pro model.
