Lucid Air drives down prices to accelerate sales

Lucid on Thursday announced a new cut for Lucid Air prices across the U.S. to boost sales. The luxury electric car company has already announced two price cuts within the past year.

This new price reduction affects all three variants of Lucid Air including the Air Pure, Air Touring, and Grand Touring.

Lucid Air Pure now starts at $69,900 with rear-wheel drive (RWD). It offers 430 hp max power, 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.5 seconds, an estimated EPA range of 410 miles, and It could fill 200 miles within 17 minutes at a 350 Kw DC fast charger.

Air Touring is priced at $77,990 with all-wheel drive (AWD). The model comes with 620 hp max power, 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.4 seconds, and an estimated EPA range of 411 miles as well as 15 minutes 200 miles DC fast charging.

The top-end Grand Touring is now priced at $109,900 with AWD setup, increased 819 hp max power, 0-60 mph in 3 seconds and its EPA range goes to 516 miles with 12 mins 200 miles capacity charge.

Lucid announced that the new owners will get a $1,000 allowance to purchase a charging accessory. The luxury EV maker also scheduled free maintenance for two years (or 2400 miles) with each new Lucid Air purchase or lease.
