Apple Sports app launches for live scores, stats and schedules
Apple today launched the Apple Sports app which delivers live scores, stats, and schedules for upcoming matches for different sports and leagues.
The app is free to download and available for users via the App Store in the U.S., U.K., and Canada and requires iOS version 17.2 or above. The app support currently will showcase updates for the following sports:
- MLS
- NBA
- NCAA basketball (men’s and women’s)
- NHL
- Bundesliga
- LaLiga
- Liga MX
- Ligue 1
- Premier League
- Serie A
Apple also announced it to bring more categories including MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA with their upcoming seasons.

In terms of features, users can check the scoreboard, customize scoreboards, and follow their favorite teams, tournaments, and leagues.
You can also check play-by-play information, and know team stats, details, and betting odds. With one tap, users can watch the entire game on Apple TV or connected streaming apps.
This app can sync with favorites selected within the My Sports experience including Apple TV and Apple News app.
