Rivian today updates its mobile app by adding charging live activity for iOS and new features for both iPhone and Android ecosystems.

The latest 2.7 version update for the Rivian app has been released for iOS and Android including real-time charging updates with new charging live activity.

Live activity is a prominent feature of iPhone 15 series and iPhone 14 Pro models which allows the users to view the progress of an activity, event, or task. This activity appears in glanceable locations such as the lock screen, in StandBy mode, and the Dynamic Island.

Similarly, the new charging live activity will appear on the Dynamic Island while the Rivian vehicle is charging.

Another addition to the app includes a detailed charging session graph which shows charging speed, charging time, maximum charging input, energy delivered, and more.

Aside from the live activity, the Rivian app for Android will show live charging updates on the lock screen with live notifications.

The third addition is the tire pressure unit selection. After the 2.7 update, you can select tire pressure units from Bar (bar), Pounds per square inch (psi), and Kilopascals (kPa).

You can get the latest changes for your Rivian vehicle from the App Store and Play Store.
