Tesla Model Y gets 30mm rear seat extension in Taiwan

Tesla has recently launched a new rear seat extension product for Model Y in Taiwan that could work as a better leg space or comfort expansion for passengers.

This new add-on brings 3 centimeters (30mm) to make a large leg space behind the front row. This expansion was first introduced by Tesla China for exclusive domestic use in the Q4 of 2022.

The rear seat extension for Tesla Model Y is priced at NT$12,945 ($410) and customers can choose whether they want to lengthen the rear seat according to their preference or use habits and add 3 centimeters of leg support to create a better ride experience.

However, customers who buy this new extension will have to visit Tesla service centers to get it installed.

Tesla said that the new expansion provides home-like comfort so that kids and elders have sufficient space during rides.
