OpenAI’s ChatGPT gets ‘Read Aloud’ feature to read response

OpenAI today announced a new “Read Aloud” feature for the ChatGPT mobile app designed for iOS and Android mobile users.

Aligning with its name, the Read Aloud feature allows you to listen to the ChatGPT responses with a tap of a button. All you need to do is tap and hold the reply and then tap Read Aloud.

Once started, a small playback control will appear on top of the prompt with play/pause, duration, 15-second forward and backward skip as well as a close button.

The Read Aloud feature is also rolling out for web users, you can find it right below the response on the website. Check a video demonstration below.
