Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous (Performance) launch is drawing closer and a major leak has confirmed its design and key specs ahead of the official unveiling.

Social media X user @eivissacopter shared this detail, who has a record of sharing reliable information about European regulatory-approved vehicles. This information may have been drawn from one of the European regulators.

It suggests that the Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous will have a mass of 1854 kilograms. It is using 79kWh LG Chem battery pack. The company will increase its performance by adding a new rear motor 4D2A with 35kW more power.

The WLTP range of the car is 528 kilometers and it has a maximum speed of 261 kilometers/hour. It is using 19-inch tires on the front and 20-inch tires on the rear side from Pirelli.

Comparison with existing European model

The battery pack of the car remains unchanged. The rear motor has increased power but reduced 2Nm torque. The WLTP range is also down by 19km. The top speed is unchanged but new tires were introduced for the rear.

Change for U.S.

The Model 3 Ludicrous in the U.S. will pack an 82kW Panasonic 3L NCA battery pack with increased weight due to the battery size. The car’s EPA range could be around 304 miles.

Design:

The front of the car has a lip splitter and optimized bumper. The bonnet has been improved similar to the Upgraded Tesla Model 3 for better aerodynamics. It equips sleek headlights as well.

The side of the car reveals red brake calipers and aero inserts for wheels. The rear side has a slightly bigger spoiler and the taillight has also been changed. There’s no ludicrous badge seen in the images but it is a prominent feature of the aesthetics in live images leaked in the past week.
