Upgraded Tesla Model 3 launches in South Korea
Tesla today launched its Upgraded Tesla Model 3 electric vehicle (EV) in South Korea. This model is already available in several markets including the U.S. as it brings new improvements over legacy Model 3.
Tesla Model 3 is priced at 51,990,000 KRW for the rear-wheel drive. It delivers 382 kilometers of driving range, 200 kilometers per hour top speed, and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.1 seconds.
The dual motor all-wheel drive version of the Upgraded Tesla Model 3 is priced at 59,990,000 KRW in South Korea. It provides a 488-kilometer range, 200 km/h max speed, and 0-100 acceleration in 4.4 seconds.
The company has not listed the Performance variant of the car. Previous report reveals that Tesla has refreshed the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance and could release it somewhere in May.
Colors:
This new model comes in five paint options – Pearl White, Solid Black, Metallic Blue, Stealth Gray, and Ultra Red. Among these, the White paint comes as standard and the other has an add-on price.
Others:
The Upgraded Tesla Model 3 equips 18-inch photo wheels and a 19-inch Nova wheel upgrade available for 1,929,000 KRW. It has a black interior as standard and a white interior for 1,286,000 KRW.
The new Tesla Model 3’s current delivery time is estimated at 1-3 months which may change based on the orders or shipment.
Design:
Tesla has optimized the car’s design to improve aerodynamics. These changes could be seen on the front trunk of the car. It has slimmed headlights than the previous model.
The interior of the Tesla Model 3 brings ambient light LED wrapped around the car’s deck through the rear passenger door. You can customize the LED color from the front display.
The interior has been improved with soft premium materials. The cabin’s soundproofing is optimized to suppress the outside noises. However, the speaker inside was also upgraded to 17 with dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers.
The Upgraded Model 3 has new 8-inch touchscreen for the rear passenger seat. The seats are ventilated and you can charge two phones wirelessly inside the car.
