Tesla Model 3 Hatchback Concept Render

This year, Tesla upgraded its Model 3 lineup including RWD, Long Range, and Performance versions with new features and aesthetics. These are sporty sedans, a custom that Telsa likes to keep but have you considered seeing the Tesla Model 3 hatchback model?

Sugar Design (Instagram) has made 3D concept renders of the Tesla Model 3 GT. The CAD model looks surreal with its hatchback appearance and could suit Tesla’s next-gen vehicle lineup.

The front of the car has sleek fascia with lower frunk for better aerodynamics. The headlights are also slimmed like Model 3 and the splitter is integrated into the bumper. The render uses a blade-style wheel design with the Tesla logo in the center. The overall wheel design is interesting for a Tesla hatchback.

The side is modular and enables a seamless look that goes up to the back with the glass roof and meets on the rear window. The vehicle shows practicality and versatility with that new tailgate with uplift movement. The taillights are in line with Model 3 but with slight optimizations on the sides. The rear bumper provides a whole new look to the car compared to its Model 3 counterparts.

Although it’s just a concept, a hatchback could be a viable option if Tesla chooses to build a lower-priced vehicle. Tesla has long been exploring a breakthrough in the low-entry price vehicle market. The company stated its intentions to launch a new vehicle before. However, it has reportedly shelved plans to develop a low-cost EV. Instead, the EV maker now pursuing the affordable EV segment. In that case, a new vehicle could be expected in the first half of 2025.

Meanwhile, it’s preparing to launch a Robotaxi but its design remains unknown. Tesla may use existing cars and inbuilt them with extra hardware for botaxi tasks or build a new vehicle.
