Tesla has listed a new Model Y Long Range member in the US with a staggering 320 miles driving EPA range and RWD drivetrain. Initially, Tesla released this model in Europe last month with a 600-kilometer (372-mile) WLTP range.

The range makes it sit above its rear-wheel drive setup predecessor with 260 miles of range. The other two models – Long Range AWD and Performance come with 310 miles and 279 miles of drive range.

Talking about the prices, the new model Long Range Rear Wheel Drive is priced at $44,990 compared to $42,990 for the previous model. That’s a $2,000 difference between the old and new models. The previous model has been discontinued.

For $2,000, the company is adding 60 miles of EPA driving range, which may not be a deal breaker for customers. However, that’s not the only interesting part because the model is also eligible for a $7,500 Federal tax credit. That means that the RWD Long Range will price at $37,490 after the federal tax credit and customers can claim the incentive at the point of delivery.

Compared to these, the Model Y Long Range (AWD) is priced at $47,990 and $40,490 after tax credit. While the Model Y Performance has a purchase price of $51,490 and a $43,990 after-tax credit. Unlike the Long Range All Wheel Drive, and Performance version, the new RWD doesn’t bring a quicksilver paint option.

The new Tesla Model Y Long Range version comes with 0-60 mph acceleration in 6.5 seconds and it has a 19/20 inch wheel option. It equips a 15-inch center touchscreen, 6.8 ground clearance, and 64-inch height and it could fill back 160 miles within 15 minutes.  The new Tesla Model Y Long Range RWD with 320 miles range is now available to order from the official Tesla US website.
