SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida

On September 5, 2024, SpaceX launched 21 Starlink satellites to orbit including 13 new Direct to Cell sats to low-Earth orbit. The payload is lifted by a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The company has halted this launch from a previous liftoff date due to unfavorable weather but the weather today allowed SpaceX to proceed with this mission.

This was the 15th flight for the first stage booster. It previously supported Crew-5, GPS II Space Vehicle 06, Inmarsat I6-F2, CRS-28, Intelsat G-37, NG-20, and eight Starlink missions.

After stage separation, the booster landed on the Just Read The Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
