Tesla Cybertruck has achieved a new milestone and improved its affordability for buyers by qualifying for $7,500 Federal tax credit. The information is driven through the fueleconomy website under Clean Vehicle Credit. The website has listed two models

  • Dual Motor
  • Single Motor

The company currently listed the dual motor version on the official configurator with a $79,990 price point. On the other hand, the Cyberbeast is priced at $99,990. So, the dual motor will only be eligible for the federal tax credit.

After tax credit, the dual motor version will be priced at $72,490, which is a good cut in the purchase price. This credit will also apply to lease and finance to further improve the accessibility of this large EV.

The dual-motor version offers 325 miles of range, 11,000lbs towing capacity, and 0-60mph acceleration in 4.1 seconds. However, buyers will have to remain limited to the base model without any add-ons to not exceed the MSRP ceiling for the tax credit.

However, you can register interest for additional accessories including a range extender, or add a universal home and mobile charger or powershare home backup bundle.

Single Motor

Unfortunately, the single-motor version is not yet listed in the configuration, which is expected to start much lower than the dual-motor counterpart. However, the company has not revealed a date for this release.
