Tesla FSD

Tesla has wrapped up 2024 with new achievements including new Full Self Driving (FSD) improvements and features that are made available to users via over-the-air software updates.

In total, the company has shipped more than 300 features in all of its models including Cybertruck. These updates and features allowed users to improve their manual and self-driving experiences.

Here are some of the notable changes that entered in Tesla lineup.

V13

Tesla started 2024 with a major improvement in FSD by removing 300k lines of manual C++ code and introducing an end-to-end network on the highway.

Tesla successfully completed the FSD v12 run through this year and began a new journey with v13. The company has demonstrated this new FSD version with major improvements in computing, training, and better safety features.

Some of these features are park, unpark, and better environmental awareness capabilities.

Actually Smart Summon:

After years of removal, Tesla brought back smart summons along with a dumb summons to let the user call their car autonomously to their current position. Both of these features are now optimized for new vision-based vehicles.

Vision Autopark

Autopark made its debut once again in Teslas with a vision-based autopark feature, this time, the company has improved the on-screen visualizations, equipped with high-fidelity 3D representation.

FSD on Cybertruck

Tesla also released the first FSD software for Cybertruck electric pickup truck with autopark feature.

New driver monitoring

The company has released a new vision-based driver monitoring system for Teslas featuring a cabin camera, removing unnecessary attention warnings.
