SpaceX launches first Starlink mission of 2025

On Monday, January 6, SpaceX launched the first Starlink mission of 2025 via Falcon 9 rocket, beginning the streak for another round of growing communication satellites.

The Falcon 9 lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 3:43 p.m. ET. The weather remained positive throughout the entire ascent.

This mission follows the launch of Space42 Thuraya 4 to geosynchronous transfer orbit from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The Starlink mission housed a booster completing its 17th flight and previously supported Crew-5, CRS-28, Intelsat G-37, Optus-X, Immarsat I6-F2, GPS III-6, NG-20, and 9 other Starlink missions.
