Lucid Gravity will get Tesla NACS Supercharger access starting January 31

Lucid has officially announced that its Gravity electric SUV will get Tesla Supercharger access starting January 31 thanks to NACS technologies. Gravity is the first EV with a native NACS port, unlike other NACS EVs with separate adapter requirements.
The charging port is located in the rear driver side of the vehicle for V3 and V4 Tesla Supercharger compatibility. Gravity is also shipped with CCS1 to NACS and SAE J1172 to NACS adapters. Among these, the CCS1 adapter is rated to charge at 500A with 1000V.
“To enable this experience for our customers, we developed a new, unique technology to allow the 926V Lucid Gravity to charge seamlessly at up to 400 kW on 1000V charging equipment and sustained speeds of up to 225 kW on 500V architecture fast chargers including Tesla V3 Superchargers,” said Emad Dlala, VP of Powertrain at Lucid.

Gravity comes with a new rear motor drive unit that supports 500V charging voltage to match a 926V battery pack. The technology also reduces cable heat and increases compatibility with 500V and 1000V charging networks.
This EV can sustain a charging curve at peak rates and add up to 200 miles in less than 12 minutes.
The powertrain also enables charging speeds up to 400kW for a 123kWh Panasonic battery pack to fill the 450-mile range. The Gravity SUV has bi-directional charging to support up to 80A at 19.2 kW with NACS charge port.
Lucid Gravity orders are open at the official website starting from $94,900 for the Grand Touring version and a slightly cheaper Touring will come later this year starting at $79,000.
Lucid Air
Besides Gravity, Lucid will roll out Tesla NACS support for the Air electric sedan in the second quarter of this year.
