SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, SpaceX used a Falcon 9 rocket to liftoff Maxar 3 mission to orbit from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The rocket maker lifted off the mission at an evening launch window.

This was the fourth flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster, after separating from the second stage, the booster returned to Earth and landed on Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. It previously supported GOES-U and two Starlink missions.

within 2 hours of mission time, the company has deployed Maxar’s fifth and sixth WorldView Legion satellites.
