Rivian appoints a former Tesla Finance VP to look for its accounting

Rivian has appointed Sreela Venkatratnam a former Tesla VP of Finance as its new Chief Account Officer. She will started her tenure at Rivian on March 10 and wil look for all accounting at the company.

Venkataratnam will be responsible for Rivian’s financial reporting, tax and trade, internal controls and compliance, finance transformation managemnet and manufacturing controllership.

New Rivian accounting office has 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. She was better know for her role at Tesla from 2023 to 2024 as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations.

During her work at the electric vehicle (EV) company, she contributed at Tesla’s global operations and business efficiencies for expansion. Before Tesla, Venkatratnam was assinged at Kleiner Perkins, Intiuitive Surgical and Mercury Interactive Corporation.
