xAI team has planned a major upgrade for those who love coding via AI, and it’s coming with the Grok 4 version release, in early July. This confirmation is coming from the chief, Elon Musk, who announced that the new model will have major improvements in this segment with a specialized coding model.

The AI firm has been preparing to launch a new Model named Grok 3.5 for months. However, its training is taking more time to conduct a final release. This is due to the continuous improvement and new feature additions to this AI model, which include first-principle-based reasoning. So, the new model will be launched as Grok 4 and not 3.5.

A month ago, xAI introduced Grok Studio with support for live coding, and users can test their web applications in a real-time environment. Users can also generate advanced codes in different programming languages to facilitate their work.

However, the next model will make coding more interesting, according to the xAI team.

“Coding to improve Grok’s coding is pure joy, like art for art’s sake! Vibe coding with the team in the war room is fire. Please share your real-world coding problems (e.g., those you may ask in Cursor’s Agent mode) for Grok to crush.” Bill Yuchen Lin from the xAI team wrote on X about the Grok 4 release with improved coding.

These appear to be massive upgrades over the existing version, and users can meet them when the model goes live next month.
