Here’s the video of first fully autonomous Tesla vehicle delivery

Earlier today, Tesla conducted the first-ever autonomous vehicle delivery and also shared a video to show how the vehicle made its way to the customer.
The vehicle was produced at the Gigafactory Texas and went straight from the factory to the road, about 30 minutes away from the new owner’s address.
The car was packed with robotaxi software, first used on June 22 in Model Ys deployed in Austin to facilitate autonomous ride-hailing. One thing to know is that it doesn’t require human driver monitoring; instead, it goes full on autonomous while navigating its way to the endpoint. At one point in the clip, the Model Y was spotted self-driving at 70Mph on the highway.
Throughout its journey, the vehicle went through highways, adhered to traffic rules, performed stops at stop signs, and traveled through city roads to reach the destination.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, confirmed that the drive was fully autonomous, with no one inside the car to monitor or for any other reason. He also claimed that the vehicle wasn’t teleoperated at any point during the self-drive. The video backed Musk’s claim as the new vehicle had no people inside from start to finish.

The new owner, named Jose, was waiting at his location to get the new Model Y (silver) via autonomous vehicle delivery. He was accompanied by Tesla engineers and officials to mark this occasion and congratulated him on becoming the first of his kind of customers.
After delivery, the vehicle was reverted to the supervised FSD, which means the vehicle will now require human monitoring while using the self-driving feature with added limitations.
There are key takeaways from this delivery: every new Tesla coming out of the factory is capable of unsupervised full self-driving. Also, the robotaxis deployed in Austin, apparently have no extra modifications except for ride-hailing specific services.
