Apple Event September 9

The next Apple Event will happen on September 9 and unveil the iPhone 17 series for customers. The company has themed this event with “Awe dropping” and it will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.

This year’s iPhone lineup is likely to bring a major change in the rear camera design, making it wider, while also retaining the triangular formation on the left. Leaks and rumors have indicated that this will be a key upgrade in the appearance, while some Apple fans don’t like this new approach.

Not only the design but the company will feed more camera specs to the latest iPhones, bringing a better imaging system.

Since Apple wants to do something different this year, we have a chance of seeing iPhone Air, a new slim iPhone variant that will focus on aesthetics. The phone maker has been looking into this category to revamp its offerings, and it may also impact its launch schedule.

Previous rumors suggest that Apple is looking for bi-annual launches, which will expand the scope of its iPhone releases. For example, launching the iPhone 17 series this year and saving the base model for early 2026 to launch alongside the iPhone 17e. However, this plan is still unconfirmed for 2025.

iOS 26 has been making headlines since WWDC, but not for good reasons. The software initially surfaced with major visibility problems, which have been addressed after a massive user feedback.

This software will be pre-loaded on the upcoming iPhones, and that’s where we’ll see the next phase of Apple Intelligence. This AI suit has been facing setback after setback since its introduction at WWDC24.

The company only released some of the features in batches throughout the last year despite actively promoting them with the iPhone 16 lineup. Still, a natural AI model integration to Siri remains incomplete.

Meanwhile, we’re looking forward to the Apple Event on September 9 and seeing what the company has to offer with the iPhone 17 series.
