xAI Grok 4 is now available on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry
Microsoft has officially announced that xAI Grok 4 is now available to Azure AI Foundry, providing faster reasoning capabilities for customers.
Developed and trained by xAI, Grok uses the Colossus supercomputer cluster, which currently employs more than 200,000 GPUs in Memphis. The company has massively improved the reasoning capability for this new model, thanks to the massive computing. This AI model emphasizes reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems.
Grok has been trained with a focus on first-principles reasoning ability, which enables it to respond with maximum accuracy, something that the company has greatly improved over the Grok 4 model family. Furthermore, Grok 4 is context-aware and provides real-time information from its X social media and the internet.

Microsoft has confirmed that Grok 4 is joining the family of already available models, including Grok 4 Fast Reasoning, Non-Reasoning, and Grok Code Fast 1. These models prioritize speed and are designed for log-heavy tasks, non-reasoning for lightweight operations, and code for developer workflows.
The Grok 4 will be priced $5.5 for input per 1 million tokens and $27.5 per 1 million tokens output. Azure users need to go to ai.azure.com and search for Grok to explore this new model.
