xAI is preparing for Grokipedia release, and a new leak shows that the company will host a shortcut button that will redirect you directly to Grokipedia.

Input shared by @nima_owji shows that xAI is adding the Grokipedia button on the Grok web app inside the profile fly-out menu. The logo used for the option shows the Globe inside the Grok logo, which coincides with the Wikipedia logo.

The Grokipedia aims to dethrone Wikipedia, which Elon Musk (xAI founder and CEO) labels as the “wokipedia”. Musk wants to use AI to provide knowledge and information to compete with Wikipedia.

Grokipedia v0.1 was slated to launch last week, but Musk confirmed that the product is underway with some new changes, and it will be released by the end of this week. The Grokipedia button on the Grok web is part of the launch preparation, and we may soon see this happen.
