You can now upscale Grok Imagine videos to HD quality

xAI has released a new feature that allows you to upscale a Grok Imagine video, providing a high-quality output for favorite videos. Imagine is a video generation feature to create videos with a text description. It takes a few seconds to create an output via Grok’s AI video generation model.

The initial Grok Imagine version only offered SD quality videos, which is a kind of bummer. After this update, users can upscale the generated videos with one tap of a button.

To do this, you need to create a video with Imagine and go to the share menu on the left side of the prompt bar. Tap on three dots to expand the options, and here you will find the “Upscale video” feature.

This will initiate a few-second process to enhance the resolution. Afterward, you will see an “HD” icon, replacing the video film icon, confirming that the video is now upscaled.

In comparison, you will notice that the pixel quality in the upscaled video has significantly improved, and it looks way better than before.

xAI has released the upscale Grok Imagine video feature for web users, but soon it will expand to the mobile platform.
