SpaceX Starlink now has over 10 million users worldwide

SpaceX’s Starlink service reached a major milestone, surpassing 10 million active users globally, highlighting the rapid growth of the satellite internet network.

Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet through a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites. SpaceX engineers designed the system to connect remote and underserved regions where traditional infrastructure falls short.

SpaceX launched the prototype satellites in 2018. Operational deployments began in 2019 with batches of 60 satellites per Falcon 9 mission. The company expanded the constellation steadily, increasing capacity and coverage.

Starlink is connecting more than 10M active customers with high-speed internet across 160 countries, territories and many other markets.

Public beta testing started in 2020 in select northern regions. Users received early dishes and reported reliable performance in rural areas. SpaceX opened service to more countries and refined hardware for easier installation.

The network improved speeds and reduced latency through software updates and denser satellite coverage. By the end of 2025, Starlink served over 9 million users. The service expanded to maritime, aviation, and mobile applications.

The latest announcement confirms Starlink now connects more than 10 million active users across 160 countries and territories.
